LDK Solar has made many new breakthroughs in multi-ingot casting. It launched the world’s largest 800 kilos G6 ingots in July, 2009; and casted the world’s first octagonal G7 ingot in July, 2017. With the upgrading of ingot furnace from G5 into octagonal G7, it can increase the existing production capacity by more than 70%, and reduce the black edge of cells effectively, and improve the average conversion efficiency of ingot.
